Three Specialty Applications
Barrier coatings. PX-6500 is a silicone-friendly acrylic binder for barrier coatings on paper and board. Because it is compatible with silicone release coatings, it is used as a base coat in release liner and label stock manufacturing, and for grease and moisture barrier coatings.
Automobile filters. PX-1077 bonds and coats filter elements in cloth and paper for air, oil and cabin filters, and PX-1059 is a non-yellowing grade for the end caps. See automotive filter emulsions.
Foam to fabric lamination. F2F-3500 is a general purpose grade for furniture, automotive and textile lamination, and F2F-5000 is for laminates that must hold under mechanical stress, heat and repeated use. See foam to fabric lamination adhesives.
