The Two Lamination Grades
Both are water-based acrylic emulsions for bonding foam to fabric. The difference is how hard a life the finished bond has to lead.

Which of the Two Do You Need?
F2F-3500 is the general purpose grade and covers most lamination work: seat foam, sofa and chair upholstery, garment and textile lamination, mattresses and bedding.
F2F-5000 is the one to reach for when the bond itself is the weak point, where it has to survive mechanical stress, heat and repeated use rather than simply hold two layers together. Automotive interior components and premium upholstery are the usual reasons to move up to it.

F2F-3500 or F2F-5000 — which one?+
F2F-3500 is the general purpose grade for furniture upholstery, automotive seat foam, textile and garment lamination, and mattresses. F2F-5000 is the high bond strength grade for work where the bond has to withstand mechanical stress, heat and repeated use, such as automotive interior components, premium upholstery and industrial foam bonding.
What materials do they bond?+
They are formulated for bonding foam to fabric across furniture, automotive and textile manufacturing. Tell us the specific foam and face material you run and we will confirm which grade suits it before you trial anything.
Are these water-based?+
Yes. Both are water-based acrylic emulsions made at our Roorkee plant. Everything we manufacture is water-based apart from two hot melt grades.
Can I get the technical datasheets?+
Yes. These two grades are not published as downloads on the site, but we send the datasheets by email on request, along with a sample if you want to trial them.
Do you develop grades for a specific lamination process?+
Yes. We develop application-specific grades where a customer needs a particular set of properties. Send us your process and the performance the bond has to reach and our technical team will work from that.
